La Jolla Blue Photostability

The figure above graphically illustrates the excellent photostability characteristics of La Jolla Blue, even after conjugation and labelling. Excellent results were obtained with both diluted and undiluted conjugate.

The four panel figure below visually represents the photostability of the La Jolla Blue from the initial exposure through 8 minutes of constant exposure. Note that a mean of three values per time interval was used to generate the graph. The images below represent a sample of those values.

A brightfield image has been included (bottom) for reference.

Oocytes of Gray Snapper (Lutjanus griseus) fixed with ethanol and labelled with the IgG fraction of a goat polyclonal antiserum produced to a purified L. griseus 66 KDa glycoprotein conjugated to La Jolla Blue.

Brightfield image taken before the above series.

Microscope: Leitz Laborius S with a Xenon lamp, MITC CCD 74 cooler and a DSP-2000 processor.
