I was born in the town of Pianura outside of Napoli, Italia, with birth name Domenico Russo, also known by Italian nickname Mimmo.
In 1959 our family left Italy for the Bahama Islands. I was raised on beautiful Grand Bahama Island, tranquil blue sea and sky.
My love of painting and mixing colors, together with my passion for photography, computer graphics and digital art, animation, and the technology associated with it , has taken me to higher levels of exploration and experimentation in the realm of digital media.
Introduced to Photoshop® in 1997 with version 4.0, I eventually changed my focus literally from the Canon and Nikon camera lenses to Photoshop®'s ever expanding creative potential and capabilities.
Photoshop®'s power and evolution eventually led to my interest in Web Design focused initially on web navigational menus, online image showcases and photo galleries, later on to navigational and interface design, and now encompassing all aspects of web design, including the integration of high end technologies incorporated into the creation of custom web sites.
Learning basic HTML using text editors and online study, I studied the professional software tools to master web site creation and digital media in many forms and modes.
